Free meals being offered at Tonganoxie Elementary School to youths up to 18

Anyone 18 and younger can visit the Tonganoxie Elementary School north entrance, pictured above, for free sack lunch and breakfast-to-go at lunchtime weekdays during the school closures due to the coronavirus pandemic.Tonganoxie Elementary School again is the place to be for free summer meals available to anyone up to 18 years of age.
The free meals are available from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the TES commons area.
The student nutrition department started the free meal offerings May 20. Meals will be offered weekdays through July 19.
The only day meals will not be served moving forward is July 4. Adults can dine for $5.25. For more information, contact the student nutrition department at 913-416-1400.
