Tonganoxie High Project Grad event takes new alums to Lenexa
Tonganoxie High School recent graduates participate in Project Grad festivities Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Lenexa Rec Center.
Tonganoxie High School’s newest graduates celebrated officially becoming alumni Saturday night with Project Grad festivities.

The celebration event took place from 10:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. at Lenexa Rec Center. There were 93 graduates out of this year’s class who attended. Participants played basketball, pickleball, Human Whack-A-Mole, ax throwing, miniature golf and casino games. There also was an air brush tattoo artist and the graduates could go swimming while at the rec center. Each participant left with cash, a gift card and at least one additional prize.
