The citywide garage sales will take place Friday and Saturday throughout Tonganoxie. Residents can have sales whenever, but the first Fridays of April and October were designated several years ago as citywide garage sale dates.

Weather should be cooperating later this week when the sales are in full swing. According to weather.com, Temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s on Friday and low 90s on Saturday.

There was a very slim chance for rain both days as of Tuesday afternoon.
