Tonganoxie citywide garage sales next week

Garage sale season is starting, as evidenced by this sign posted Saturday in Tonganoxie. Cynthia Ewer, editor of organizedhome.com, has some pointers for folks thinking about having a yard sale.It’s almost time for bargain shoppers to find some deals throughout Tonganoxie.
The citywide garage sales will take place Oct. 4 and 5 throughout the community. Residents can have sales whenever, but the first Friday of April and October were designated several years ago a citywide garage sale dates. Residents also can advertise their sales in The Mirror’s classified section by calling 800-578-8748 or emailing classifieds@ljworld.com.
