Daylight saving time begins March 9

Daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 12. People should set their clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.It soon will be time to once again set your clocks ahead an hour with the start of daylight saving time.
DST will begin at 2 a.m. March 9. Readers are reminded to set their clocks ahead one hour before going to bed the night before. Daylight saving time will then be in effect until Nov. 2, when everyone will set their clocks back an hour.
