Tonganoxie Recreation Commission to have Mother’s Day Bingo on Saturday

A new mural greets visitors who enter the Tonganoxie Recreation Commission Activity Center gymnasium through its main downstairs entrance. TRC expanded its hours of operations a couple weeks ago and staff look to continue to add more offerings.Tonganoxie Recreation Commission will have a Mother’s Day Bingo event this weekend at the TRC Activity Center.
Bingo will be 1-3:30 p.m. at the center, 300 U.S. Highway 24-40. Instead of a fee to play, participants should bring in a donation of feminine hygiene products. The donations will go to Good Shepherd Thrift Shop and Food Bank.
There will be 10 rounds of bingo, with snacks and drinks provided. Local businesses are donating prizes for the event. Registration is required. Go to tongierec.org or call 913-845-3502 for more information or to register.
Children 14 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
