Allen Puderbaugh
Memorial services for Allen F. Puderbaugh, 57, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
Mr. Puderbaugh died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., after a 10-month battle with chronic pulmonary arterial hypertension.
He was born May 9, 1951, in Lawrence, the son of Perry E. and Lola May Moline Puderbaugh.
Mr. Puderbaugh was a remodeling contractor and craftsman. He owned Allen Puderbaugh Construction. He was a member of the International Order of Rocky Mountain Goats and Lawrence Country Club. He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed fishing in all habitats. He was also a golfer, motorcycle enthusiast and an avid Jayhawk fan.
He married Bobette Lynn Webster on Nov. 9, 1974, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Allison Puderbaugh, New York City; and a sister, Wanda Breeden, Lawrence.
The family suggests memorials to the International Order of Rocky Mountain Goats wildlife preservation, sent in care of the mortuary.
