Dorles Luttrell

Graveside services for Dorles Gene “Geno” Luttrell, 74, of Bonner Springs, were Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Luttrell died Saturday Oct. 25, 2008.
He was born on Feb. 22, 1934, in Brumley, Mo.
Mr. Luttrell was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 226 for 38 years. He loved antiques and his flowers.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joyce L. Luttrell, of the home; a son, Stephen E., Martinez, Calif.; a daughter, Angela N. Luttrell, Bonner Springs; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

John David White

Memorial services for John David White, 68, of Sioux Falls, S.D., were Sept. 26 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix.
Mr. White died Sept. 21, 2008.
He was born Aug. 16, 1940 in Sioux Falls, the son of Hiram and Jean White. He was raised in Bonner Springs.
Mr. White was a Navy radarman from 1958-1962. He served in the Naval Reserves from 1962-1965.
Survivors include wife, Karen; two daughters, Dana Newton and Jennifer Padilla; a sister, Ardus McIntyre; a brother, Robert White; and four grandchildren.
