Marian Gillapp

Memorial services for Marian L. Gillapp, 87, Shawnee, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Villa of St. Augustine, 3008 S. 34th St., Kansas City, Kan. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.
Mrs. Gillapp died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of William R. and Louise (Herman) Kemp. She was a 1939 graduate of Wyandotte High School and was a retail clerk at A&P Grocery Stores for 30 years, retiring in 1986.
Her husband, Kenneth L. Gillapp, died earlier.
Survivors include two sons, Richard L. Hathorne, Shawnee, and Kenneth G. Gillapp, Lenexa; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Grace Center Maternity Home or Villa of St. Augustine.
