Rebecca Knight

Bonner Springs — Memorial services for Rebecca Knight, 88, Bonner Springs, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Edwardsville Christian Church in Edwardsville. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Knight died Sunday, March 29, 2009.
She was born Feb. 23, 1921, in Tampico, Ill., the daughter of Grant and Martha Sons. She had lived most of her life in the Kansas City, Kan., area.
Mrs. Knight was employed by the Bonner Springs School District for 12 years. Known to her loved ones as “Granny,” she was a lifelong member of Edwardsville Christian Church.
A daughter, Emmarette Miller, and two husbands, Alvin Roy Knight Sr. (36 years) and Arnold Knight (14 years), died earlier. 
Survivors include two sons, Alvin R. Knight Jr. (Donna) and Jack L. Knight (Linda); 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
