John “Jack” Conrad

Memorial services fro John “Jack” W. Conrad, 75, of De Soto will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., in De Soto. There will be a rosary from 6 to 6:30 p.m. at the chapel. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at De Soto Cemetery.
Mr. Conrad was born March 21, 1934, in Pittsburg to John and Mae Conrad. He graduated from Parsons High School and married Mary L. Murphy on Dec. 29, 1956, in St. Patrick’s Church of Parsons. The couple has lived in the De Soto area since 1962.
He was a member of the Holy Family Church of Eudora, and lifetime member of De Soto VFW Post 6654 and was judge advocate.
He is survived by his wife of the home, two son, John David Conrad, Eudora, and James Patrick Conrad, De Soto; and a daughter Christina Marie Hayes, De Soto; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
