Clayton Jennings

Edwardsville — Mass of Christian Burial for Clayton W. Jennings, 79, was Tuesday, April 7 at Sacred Heart Church, with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa.
Mr. Jennings died April 4, 2009.
After serving in the Korean War, Clayton returned home where he met and married his wife, Kay. He worked many years with J.A. Tobin Construction Company and Clarkson Construction, where he supervised numerous local highway projects.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Catherine “Kay” Jennings.
Survivors include a son, Daniel, of Shawnee; daughters, Barbara Jennings, of Santa Barbara, Cal., and Janice Johnson and husband, Ron, of Bonner Springs; and three grandchildren.
