Danny Jones

Services for Danny Lee Jones, 51, Kansas City, Kan., were Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs. Entombment was at Mt. Muncie Cemetery Mausoleum in Lansing.
Mr. Jones died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at home from a short, difficult battle with multiple myeloma.
He was born May 25, 1958, in Searcy, Ark.
Mr. Jones graduated from F.L. Schlagle High School in 1977. He spent his life in the printing industry and at one time owned with his brother DandB Printing. Currently he was employed as a supervisor at De Elliotte Co. Inc.
He entered and won numerous car shows with his old cars and bikes. He enjoyed riding his Harley and being with friends in his spare time.
His mother, Alice Reed, died earlier.
Survivors include Shawn and Angel Jones, Karen Jones, Bill and Susan Horton, Lance and Brita Horton (Qwyn), Sarah and Rito Sanez (Logan), Shannon and Martin Rosales (Mateo, Victoria and Angelina), Ernest Reed, Michael and Nichole Derks (Harley and Dillion), the Culwell families, Sherry Jennings and family, Jack Jones and family, the Lesher family, the Lynn family, Joyce West, the Fasone family, the Beck family and many others.
The family suggests memorials to Camp Quality or Bikers for Babies Foundation, sent in care of the funeral home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
