Esther Woodward

Graveside services for Esther Louise Woodward, 95, Brazoria, Texas, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Woodward died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 in Fulshear, Texas.
She was born Jan. 29, 1914, in Bonner Springs, the daughter of Roy A. and Fannie M. Mills Wilber. She was a homemaker and secretary.
Mrs. Woodward was a member of the Glee Club in high school and attended Kansas University and Emporia State Teachers College, where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau.
On July 31, 1941, in Oskaloosa, she married George R. Woodward. He died Oct. 12, 2008.
Survivors include two daughters, Georgia Hanson, Fulshear, Texas, and Sharon Knight, Alvin, Texas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
