Judith Rockwell

Services for Judith “Judy” (Pouppirt) Rockwell, 63, of Basehor, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Basehor Baptist Church, 3714 N. 155th St. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Basehor.
Mrs. Rockwell died Saturday Jan. 31, 2009.
She was born March 17, 1945, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Tommy and Rosie Pouppirt.
She attended Basehor schools and graduated with honors from Basehor High School. She also graduated from Washburn University in Topeka.
Mrs. Rockwell was organist for two churches, Basehor Baptist and Fairmont Methodist.
Survivors include two sisters, Shirlene Pouppirt of the home, and Jeanne Moon, Des Moines, Iowa.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, also at the church.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Basehor Baptist Church to assist the Missions Program, sent in care of Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
