Tonganoxie — No formal services are planned for Florence Wiley, 95, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Wiley died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Sept. 28, 1913, in East Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Alvin L and Edith C. (Koenig) Walko.
She graduated from Shaw High School in East Cleveland and was self-employed as a pet groomer until the age of 88.
She married Alexander B. Wiley on June 28, 1940, in Cleveland. He died Dec. 13, 1967.
Survivors include two sons, Alexander W. Wiley, Tonganoxie, and Peter R. Wiley, Long Beach, Calif.; a daughter; Enid Wiley, Pittsburgh, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
