Timothy Bell

No services are planned for Timothy Jay Bell, 68, Blue River, Ore. Mr. Bell died Feb. 14, 2009, after a battle with cancer.
He was born Sept. 26, 1940, in Baldwin City, the son of Clyde and Marjorie Bell. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1958, where he was active in sports and worked as a partner on the family farm.
Mr. Bell married Evelyn Tawney on Aug. 25, 1961, in Ottawa. They moved to Baker City, Ore., where he was employed in a mill and worked as a ranch hand. In the late 1960s, the family moved to Blue River, Ore., where he was involved in construction. Mr. Bell retired in 1997 from construction work, but continued to pursue many projects.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Kim Long, Redmond, Ore.; his mother, Baldwin City; a sister, Nancy Billet, Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Brownsboro Cemetery in Eagle Point, Ore., and a celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to Providence Hospice of Medford, Ore.
