Fern Carter

Graveside services for Fern R. Carter Stone, 91, Carrollton, Mo., will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at Monticello Cemetery, Shawnee.
Mrs. Stone died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at her home.
She was born Sept. 23, 1917, in Zarah, Kan., the daughter of Miles Robert and Margaret (Leeker) Lynn.
Her husband, Lawrence E. Stone, II, died earlier.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzann L. Maloney, Chandler, Ariz.; a son, Mike Carter, Carrollton, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Marilyn Kessler, Denver; a stepson, Lawrence Stone, Mission Hills; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
