David Hutchinson

Services for Dr. David Lynn Hutchinson, 41, Atchison, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison. Burial will be in Doniphan Cemetery, Doniphan.
Mr. Hutchinson died July 26, 2009, in his home, surrounded by family.
He was born Dec. 27, 1967, in Wichita, the son of Samuel A. and Doris Ann (Graham) Hutchinson. He attended Woodson Elementary School, Topeka, graduated from Topeka West High School in 1986, graduated from Kansas State University in 1990 with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and received his doctorate in optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn.
He practiced optometry in Bonner Springs for seven years and later at Fort Leavenworth. He was a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kansas Optometric Association. He enjoyed music and photography.
He married Ann Green on Sept. 1, 1990, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Talsa Hutchinson, Topeka; two sons, Phoenix and Dakota Hutchinson, both of the home; his parents, Samuel and Doris Ann Hutchinson, Topeka; and his mother-in-law, Margaret Green, Atchison.
