Barbara Kolman

Tonganoxie — Services for Barbara J. Kolman, 75, were Wednesday, June 17, at United Methodist Church in Tonganoxie. Burial was at Hubbel Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Kolman died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Providence Place Nursing Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born July 2, 1933, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Ray and Darline (Klamm) Sutton. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Tonganoxie, Rinda Chapter 82 Order of the Eastern Star and Sertoma Club in Tonganoxie.
She married Robert “Bob” O. Kolman on July 22, 1954, in Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. and Mrs. Kolman owned Sutton-Kolman Ford in Tonganoxie for 34 years, and she remained involved in the automotive industry until October 2008. Mr. Kolman died Nov. 15, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Robert Kolman and wife, Kim, Tonganoxie; a daughter, Karen Forshee and husband, Gary, Basehor; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
