Lisa Elven

Celebration of Life services for Lisa A. (Lea) Elven, 36, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs. Cremation will follow.
Mrs. Elven died Friday, June 26, 2009, while surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with renal cancer.
She was born Sept. 7, 1972, in Kansas City, the daughter of Jim and Linda Lea.
She graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1991 and went on to Kansas City Kansas Community College, graduating from its nursing program.
Mrs. Elven had worked at Parkway Care Home in Edwardsville.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Jerry Elven, of the home; two children, Kelsie and Tyler, of the home; and her parents and siblings.
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
