Earl Wilson
Memorial services for Earl Kenneth “Kenny” Wilson, 72, Branson West, Mo., will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
Mr. Wilson died Friday, March 20, 2009, at his home.
He was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Independence, Kan.
Mr. Wilson was raised in Chanute and for most of his life lived in the Kansas City area, where he worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for 40 years. After retiring in 1998, he and his wife, Wanda, moved to Branson West. Mr. Wilson served honorably for two years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
A son, Mark Allen Wilson, died earlier.
Survivors include: his wife, Wanda; daughter, Cynthia Stallman; a daughter-in-law, Betty Wilson; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Robert D. Wilson and his wife, Neva; a sister, Betty Buckner; a stepson, Andy Riley; a stepdaughter, Terri Lynnes; three stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
