Keith Alexander
Olathe — Funeral Mass for Keith Michael “Butch” Alexander was Monday, March 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gardner, with burial to follow in Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Alexander died March 19, 2009, at home following an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 12, 1956, and was a life-long resident of both Bonner Springs and Olathe. He served his country in the armed forces both at home and abroad before retiring with the rank of Sergeant. Following his military services, he worked in the construction industry as an electrician and heavy equipment operator. Keith possessed a very creative talent and produced many art designs for local businesses and performers. In addition, he was also an avid music lover and enjoyed playing his guitar for friends.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, of the home; son Michael Alexander and wife, Kimberly, of Spring Hill, Kan.; his mother, Patricia, and stepfather, Wayne Struchtemeyer, of Olathe; his father, Jack Alexander, and stepmother, Carolyn, of Fulton, Mo.; sisters Renee Stanley and husband, Gary, of Bonner Springs, and Jackie Riley and husband, Michael, of Olathe; a stepson, Stephen Ingala, of Olathe; stepdaughters, Amy Ingala, of Kansas City, Kan., and Antoinette Schofield and husband, Wayne, of Shawnee; and two grandchildren.
