John Rolley Jr.

Kansas City, Kan. — Services for John Earle Rolley Jr., 89, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at St. Martin-in-the-Field Episcopal Church, Edwardsville. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Rolley died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
He was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Hoosier, Kan., the son of John and Mabel Rolley. He was a lifelong Wyandotte County resident.
Mr. Rolley was employed at Williams Brothers Pipeline for 41 years before retiring at age 71.A son, Richard Dean Rolley, died in 1951.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Margaret Rolley, of the home; a daughter, Carolyn Hund-Moody, Basehor; three grandchildren; and a close family friend, Kevin Bettis.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service, at the church. Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs, is in charge of arrangements.
