Helen Murphy

Services for Helen J. Murphy, 103, formerly of Basehor, were Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor.
A visitation and rosary took place before the service. Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leavenworth.
Mrs. Murphy died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Sept. 3, 1906, the daughter of John and Katherine (Eibes) Murphy.
Mrs. Murphy retired in 1971 from Sears, Kansas City, Mo., as an office worker. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and its Altar Society.
She is survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 18 grand nieces and nephews.
