Amy Miles

Tonganoxie — Services for Amy Beth Miles, 49, Tonganoxie, were Monday, Sept. 21, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor.
Mrs. Miles died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at her home.
She was born July 13, 1960, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of John and Wilma McGraw Harnden.
Mrs. Miles was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, where she taught catechism classes. She owned and operated a daycare for 20 years and also worked for Suburban Water Company, Basehor.
She married Bill Miles on Aug. 9, 1980, in Basehor. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Travis Miles, Basehor, and Brett Miles, of the home; a daughter, Jessica Wiehe, Tonganoxie; four brothers, John Harnden, Atchison, Bill Harnden, Tonganoxie, Michael Harnden, Tulsa, Okla., and Daniel Harnden, Overland Park; three sisters, Helen Ireland, Seymour, Mo., Christine Hill, Basehor, and Michele Harnden, St. Marys; and two granddaughters.
