Fred Smith

No services are planned for Fred O. “Freddie” Smith, 75, Lawrence.
Mr. Smith died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at his home.
He was born Jan. 18, 1935, in Coffeyville, the son of Fred O. and Lucille I. Evans Smith.
Mr. Smith worked for Farmland Industries and retired after more than 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He married Emma “Sue” Moore on May 31, 1960, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Randal Lee, Baldwin City; a daughter, Amy Marie Coleman and husband Craig, Lawrence; a brother, Jack L. and wife Kathy, Lawrence; a sister, Linda L. Pringle and husband Roger, Lawrence; and four grandchildren, Andre and Renee Robinson and Jordan and Jessica Coleman.
