Mary Barncord

Services for Mary Barncord, 77, Tonganoxie, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie. Burial will follow in Eagle Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Barncord died Friday, August 13, 2010, at her home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1932, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of John and Concetta (Lamantia) Firuccia. Mrs. Barncord worked as a secretary for the linguistics department at Kansas University and was a bus monitor for the Tonganoxie School District. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Her Husband, David Barncord Sr., preceded her in death on March 6, 1983.
Survivors include one son, David Barncord Jr., Tonganoxie; three daughters, Barbara Barncord, Lenexa, Diana McWilliams, Tonganoxie, and Kathy Barncord, Tonganoxie; three brothers, Sal Firuccia, Phoenix, John Firuccia, Raytown, Mo., and Joe Firuccia, Gladstone, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, where a rosary will be said at 7 pm.
