Joan Sisk
Memorial services for Joan Mary Sisk, 74, Pomona, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Walnut Grove Bible Church, Bonner Springs.
Mrs. Sisk died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
She was born Sept. 30, 1936, in Peterbourgh, England, the daughter of William and Julia (Clifton) Clitheroe. At age 17, she moved to Idaho Springs, Colo. She later lived in Pueblo, Colo., Bonner Springs and Pomona.
Mrs. Sisk was homemaker and a member of Walnut Grove Bible Church. She attended Ottawa Bible Church, Pomona.
She married Winland J. Sisk on May 10, 1973, in Taos, N.M. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include four sons, Richard A. Pennington, Darryl L. Pennington and Stephen D. Pennington, all of Pueblo, Colo., and Winland J. Sisk Jr., Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family will meet with friends at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church for a visitation.
