Steve Roos

A memorial gathering for Steve Ann Roos, 74, Shawnee, is planned for Sunday, Jan. 2, at a family residence.
Mrs. Roos died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, after a ten-year battle with cancer.
She was born March 16, 1936, in Johnson County, the daughter of Glen and Freda (Carter) Vogt.
On April 11, 1953, she married William J. Roos in Kansas City, Mo.
Other survivors include a daughter, Kim Mallinson and partner, Michele Nelson, Rockford, Ill.; two sons, Jerry (Oxana) Roos and Rick (Karen) Roos, Shawnee; a brother, Tom (Joan) Vogt, Shawnee; five grandchildren; and four great-granchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Kansas City, Hospice, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
