Lucille Watkins

Graveside Services for Lucille Watkins, 90, Bonner Springs, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Watkins, a lifelong resident of Bonner Springs, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at her home.
She was born May 9, 1919, in Bonner Springs and was a lifelong member of Loring Sunshine Club and Bonner Springs United Methodist Church. In her retirement she enjoyed square-dancing, as well as camping and also playing her piano.
Her husband of 52 years, Walter H. Watkins, died in 1990.
Survivors include a son, Ronald E. Watkins (Judith), Tucson Ariz.; a daughter, Mary A. Coleman (Ted), Festus, Mo.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs.
