Mary Betz Callaghan

Mass of Christian burial for Mary Lillian Betz Callaghan, 87, Shawnee, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 8, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Overland Park. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Shawnee.
Mrs. Callaghan died Monday, June 28, 2010, at the Sweet Life of Shawnee.
Her husband, Charles L. Callaghan Jr., and a daughter, Patricia Marie, died earlier.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Frances (Ricardo) Martinez, North Kansas City, Mo., Linda Sue (Kirk) Augustine, Springfield, Mo., Beverly Anne (John) Schuepbach, Lenexa, and Karen Jean (Stan) Swisher, Marshall, Mo.; a son, John Charles (Mabelle) Callaghan, Philippines; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, where the rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
