Memorial services for Louie Frank Perry, 91, of Basehor and previously of Piper, will be at noon Saturday, June 5, at Maywood Community Church, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Perry died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, while surrounded by his family at his home.
He was born on June 19, 1918, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Ira and Mary (Boyd) Perry.
Mr. Perry was a 1936 graduate of Wyandotte High School in 1936. He retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad after 32 years of employment. He was a member of Maywood Community Church for more than 50 years, was a longtime member of the Wyandotte Masonic Lodge No. 3 and a member of the Woodcarving Club in Kansas City, Mo
A daughter, Laurel Leigh Lasiter, died in 2007.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Laurel Perry, of the home; two daughters, Laine Bourn and husband Edward, Edwardsville, and Leslie Nigh and husband Darren, Basehor; two grandsons; a son-in-law, Tim Lasiter; and a sister Mary Ackors, Omaha, Neb.
