Gary Fike

A memorial visitation for Gary L. Fike, 65, of Shawnee was Saturday at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
Mr. Fike died Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
He was born Oct. 20, 1944, in Davis, W.Va., the son of Earl and Elda (Ball) Fike.
He served in the U.S. Army with the 173rd Airborne Brigade (Sky Soldiers) during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Vicki; two sons, David and Adam (Emily) Fike; and a granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or Catholic Community Services Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home, 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66203.
