Mabel Ruby

Services for Mabel Louise Ruby, 88, of Gower, Mo., and previously of Bonner Springs, were Tuesday, March 2, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. Burial was in Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruby died Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Gower Convalescent Center.
She was born Oct. 18, 1921, in Rockyford, Colo., the daughter of Raleigh and Maggie (Huff) Selvage.
Her husband, Charles E. Ruby Jr., died in 1999. A daughter, Mary E. Leake, died in 1996. Another daughter, Edith Louann Moller, died in 1997. Two grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Charles E. Ruby III, Drexel, Mo.; a daughter, Sherryl L. Prock, Gower, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
