Services for Eva Maxine James Stamm, 86, Shawnee, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Antioch Pioneer Cemetery.
Mrs. Stamm died Friday, March 27, 2010, at The Sweet Life at Rosehill, Shawnee.
She was born March 4, 1924, in Hazelton, Kan., the daughter of Richard Buehler and Lola Beatrice (Whietner) James
A daughter, Sherri Vonn Stamm preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Sue Stamm (David) Sielert, Emporia; a son, Mark Edward (Alice) Stamm, Olathe; a sister, Etta Marie James (Jim) Kerr, Highmore, S.D.; a brother Paul (Martha Nan) James and wife, Cody, Wyo.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
The family suggests memorials to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 6422 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS 66202
