Ronnie Smith

Services for Ronnie F. Smith, 69, Leavenworth, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Smith died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at St. John’s Hospital in Leavenworth.
He was born June 24, 1941, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Frank O. and Leona Smith.
Mr. Smith lived all of his life in the Kansas City area. He was a 1959 graduate of Wyandotte High School, and retired from the Gas Service Company of Kansas City, Kan. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sharon Smith; a daughter, Ronda (Christopher) Pinnow, Carlsbad, Calif.; a son, Brandon Smith, Tonganoxie; his mother, Leona Smith, Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Sharon Pagacz, Kansas City, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
