Emma Blansit
Services for Emma Louise Blansit, 88, Basehor, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 22, 2010 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Basehor.
Mrs. Blansit died Sunday Sept. 19, 2010, at her home.
She was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Denver and Julia Gabel Vaughn. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Her husband, Ernest Roy Blansit, died in 1977, and a son, Tom A. Blansit, died in 1975. Survivors include three sons, James, Walnut Shade, Mo., John, Tonganoxie, and Jerry Blansit, Basehor; two daughters, Mary Louise White, Basehor, and Patricia A. Novosel, Tonganoxie; two sisters, Mary Hecht and Lola Walker, both of Kansas City, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church
Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, is handling arrangements.
