Mildred Young

Services for Mildred Azley Young, 89, Kansas City, Kan., were Monday, Feb. 21, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Young died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2011, in Lansing.
She was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Bollinger County, Mo., the daughter of Matt and Radie Mungle.
Her husband, Lloyd J. Young, and a granddaughter preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Carl W. (Jennifer) Young and Barbara J. (Tom) Steele, Basehor, Jerry L. (Pat) Young, Tonganoxie, Jo Ann Yazel, Weston, Mo., and Ronnie G. Young, Wyandotte County; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Asara Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS 66112.
