Jaunita ‘Nita’ Bond

Memorial services for Juanita “Nita” G. Bond, 78, Tonganoxie, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs. Burial of cremains will be at Bonner Springs Cemetery
Mrs. Bond died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011.
She was born March 1, 1932, in Kansas City, Kan., the second of five children to Charles and Ruth Gibson.
Mrs. Bond was retired from Southwestern Bell after 30 years of service and was employed at the time of her death at Action Investigation in Kansas City, Kan.
Her husband, Lee Bond, died in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin (Mark) Hernandez; Tonganoxie; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
