Clara Klotz
Private services are planned for Clara Jean (Clark) Klotz, 83, Omaha, Neb.
Mrs. Klotz died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, in Omaha from complications of pneumonia.
She was born May 4, 1927, in Holliday, Kan., the daughter of James and Belva Jean Trusty Ruby.
Mrs. Klotz retired from Southwestern Bell in 1985.
She was a member of Telephone Pioneers, and an avid quilter who donated many quilts to The Salvation Army (Omaha), Project Linus (Methodist Hospital, Omaha), and the Pine Ridge Rosebud Indian Reservation.
A daughter, Molly Jett, and three husbands, Rex Hicks of Lawrence, Marvin M. Clark, Bonner Springs, and, most recently, Raymond Klotz, Leavenworth, died earlier.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathie (Murvin) Pearson, Springfield, Mo., and Belva Dunigan, Belen, N.M.; a son, Wayne M. (Mindy) Clark, Elkhorn, Neb.; .a sister, Joyce Harlan, Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, James Ruby and John Ruby, both of Leavenworth; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
