Tonganoxie High girls soccer shuts out Washington for 1st victory of season

The Tonganoxie High girls soccer team goes up against Leavenworth at home. The Chieftains lost to the Pioneers, but bounced back for a victory Tuesday against Washington.The Tonganoxie High girls soccer team got a big victory Tuesday at Beatty Field.
Facing off against Washington, THS scored a shutout against the Wildcats.
Tonganoxie won the match, 7-0, and improved to 1-3 on the season. The victory also marked THS’ first goals of the season after getting shut out in the Chieftains’ first three matches.
Tonganoxie’s next match is 6 p.m. today at Eudora (1-4).
