Tonganoxie High boys wrestling wins Randy Starcher Invitational

Tonganoxie High boys wrestling team members celebrate a title Saturday at this year's Randy Starcher Memorial Invitational at Chieftain Arena.The Tonganoxie High boys wrestling team won the Randy Starcher Memorial Invitational title on its home mats Saturday.
THS won the meet with 285 points. Savannah (Mo.) placed second with 211 points, while Lansing was third with 191. Tonganoxie got the resounding victory thanks in part to six individual champions: Clayton Crookham at 126, Braeden Moore at 144, Noah Bailey at 150, Brady Martin at 165, Colton Brusven at 190 and Gavin Rhoads at 285.

The tournament marked Tonganoxie’s final competition of the 2023 portion of the schedule. Bailey (9-1) recently won his 100th career match as well.
