Tonganoxie High girls basketball drops Turner; boys fall to Bears at home

The Tonganoxie High girls basketball team won non-conference game Friday at home.
The Chieftains defeated Turner, 31-20, and improved to 3-10 on the year. The boys, though, couldn’t do the same and lost, 41-32, to the Bears. The boys fell to 2-11 on the season.
Tonganoxie teams played at Heritage Christian on Tuesday in Olathe after The Mirror’s print deadline. Both are back home Friday against Bonner Springs.
