THS was the No. 12 seed in the East Bracket and met No. 5 Heritage Christian Academy Monday afternoon. HCA proved to be too much for the Chieftains and won the first-round playoff match, 5-0.

Tonganoxie’s season concluded at 2-15 with Monday’s loss. Heritage Christian improved to 11-5-1 and will meet either No. 4 Baldwin (11-5-0) or No. 13 Bishop Ward (1-13) on Thursday.

THS’ victories were shutouts against Washington (7-0) and Harmon (1-0).
