Tonganoxie High volleyball to have Pink Out

Tonganoxie High teammates Lucy Rieke and Kasia Baldock celebrate a point against Ottawa.Tonganoxie High volleyball players will have a Pink Out event Thursday to honor those who have or are currently fighting breast cancer.
THS will take on Bonner Springs with a C-Team match at 4:30 p.m., junior varsity at 5:30 p.m. and varsity at 6:30 p.m.
There will be placing of ribbons on a net to represent those who have battled or are battling cancer and a raffle also is planned.
The raffle will be announced after the first set of the THS-Bonner Springs varsity match. Raffle ticket purchasers must be present to win at the best-of-five varsity match against Bonner. Raffle items include a Yeti cooler, grill, bonfire pit, 55-inch television, pizza and more.
THS enters this week’s action at 19-10 on the season.
