Tonganoxie (7-7-1) defeated Paola (0-14-1) by a 2-0 score.

THS scored early in the match on Gavin Shupe’s free kick that found Andrea Columbano in the box just more than 3 minutes into the contest (37:54). Tonganoxie scored roughly 9 minutes later when Jameson Breitzman passed the ball to Emery Weiser who then punched in the goal (28:47).

Tonganoxie wouldn’t score again, but it wouldn’t need anymore as the Chieftain defense pitched a shutout.

Up next for THS is Senior Night on Tuesday when THS takes on Seaman. The 5A Vikings are 5-7-1 on the season. Senior Night festivities will start before the match, which is expected to start around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
