THS is 1-2 in Frontier League play and 3-4 overall heading into conference matches Thursday against Ottawa (1-1 and 1-4) at home and Monday at Bonner Springs (2-2 and 3-3).
The Chieftains are coming off a 2-0 road victory against Hayden (3-5) in Topeka. Through seven matches, THS has scored 8 goals while giving up 14, though three of its matches have been decided by one goal and two others by two.
Tonganoxie’s home match Thursday will start around 6 p.m.
