Pop-up disc golf courses coming to Chieftain Park
Here’s a look at the initial pop-up disc golf course planned for Chieftain Park this coming Tuesday. There will be four pop-up disc golf courses at the park in total this summer.
Tonganoxie Recreation Commission is offering pop-up disc golf courses this summer with the help of local resident Cooper Arnold.
The pop-up course will be offered 8 a.m.-8 p.m. each time at Chieftain Park. The first pop-up course will be available this coming Tuesday.
Other dates are July 23, Aug. 6 and Aug. 25. All dates are Tuesday, aside from the final pop-up course, which will be a Sunday.
If residents don’t own discs, that’s no problem. They can visit the Tonganoxie Recreation Commission Activity Center, 300 E. U.S. Highway 24-40 and borrow a set to play. For more information, visit tongierec.org or call 913-845-3502.
