Tonganoxie football wins 3rd straight, blanks Bonner for homecoming victory

The Chieftains capped off homecoming week with a 45-0 victory.
The victory moved THS to 2-2 in Frontier League play and 3-2 overall on the year.
Next up for the Chieftains is the 8 Mile Showdown game against longtime rival Basehor-Linwood.
THS won the inaugural game of the traveling trophy last year with a 34-20 decision at Beatty Field.
BLHS comes into the game undefeated at 5-0. Though the Bobcats aren’t ranked in the Top 5 in the Class 5A, they are just outside those rankings in the “others considered” category.
The Bobcats are undefeated in United Kansas Conference play and overall after defeating Topeka West, 59-6, on Friday.
